No, real KYC is not required to perform transactions in our staging environment. When testing in staging you still need to create a user account and fill in the personal details screens. The address proof, ID document, and selfie verification steps are skipped.

The personal details entered are not verified behind the scenes unlike production, so you can enter dummy info. KYC is instantly approved. This way you can experience and test the end-to-end user journey. You also don’t need to go through the KYC or KYB process to create a Partner account and start developing in the staging environment.

You just need to create a Partner account.
