What is SEPA?
SEPA payments are cashless payments in euro currency that are processed via the Single Euro Payments Area network to facilitate cross-border bank transfers in 36 Eurozone and non-euro area countries.
SEPA encompasses 36 countries, including all 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, and Vatican City.
Who can place an order through SEPA on Tranak?
Any European customer can place an order on Transak through SEPA by choosing the fiat currency EURO.
Select SEPA as payment method:
SEPA payment processing Time:
Instant SEPA: We receive the payment almost immediately, depending on the customer’s bank processing procedure and their internal turnaround time.
Normal SEPA payments: These may take 1–3 business days to process, depending on the customer’s bank, excluding weekends and non-working days.
It's important to note that these time frames exclude weekends and public holidays, so transfers initiated on these days will take longer to process. We emphasizes that the processing time is primarily dependent on the user's bank, and we have no control over the time it takes for the bank to complete the transfer.
