How to Request a Refund to a Preffered Wallet Address (Off-Ramp Orders)

  • 🏦 Know your wallet type β€” is it a private wallet (like MetaMask or Trust Wallet) or an exchange wallet (like Binance or Coinbase)?


Step-by-Step Guide


Step 1 β€” Log in to Transak

Enter your registered email address β†’ you'll receive a one-time password (OTP) in your inbox β†’ enter it to log in.

πŸ’‘ Make sure you use the same email you used when placing your original order.


Step 2 β€” Click on the Sell Tab

Once you're logged in, look for the Sell tab at the top and click on it.


Step 3 β€” Start a New Order

Select your crypto asset and click Continue.

ℹ️ Don't worry β€” this is just to access the refund settings. You won't be charged or lose any funds.


Step 4 β€” Change Your Refund Destination

On the next screen, you'll see an option that says "Refund to source wallet".

πŸ‘‰ Untick this box β€” this tells us you want the refund sent somewhere else.


Step 5 β€” Add Your Wallet Address

Click "Add a different wallet address" and:

  1. Choose your wallet type:

    • πŸ”‘ Private wallet β€” e.g. MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom

    • 🏦 Exchange wallet β€” e.g. Binance, Coinbase, Kraken

  2. Enter your wallet address carefully β€” double-check it before proceeding!

⚠️ Please make sure the wallet address is correct. Refunds sent to a wrong address cannot be recovered.

⚠️ Incase if it shows invalid wallet address, please use an alternate wallet address.


Step 6 β€” Confirm & You're Done!

Review your details and confirm the order.

Our team will verify your wallet address and send the refund within ⏱️ 48 hours.

You'll receive an update via email once it's processed.
