Need help accessing the camera to complete KYC verification?

If the camera doesn’t turn on automatically or isn’t functioning properly during KYC verification, here’s what you can do to enable it:

Mac

Menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Camera.

Check the box next to the app to allow it to access your camera.

Open System Settings: Click on the Apple menu () in the top-left corner of your screen, then select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).

Select Privacy & Security: In the settings menu, click on Privacy & Security from the sidebar.

Find Camera: Scroll down to the Camera section under the "Privacy" tab.

Enable Camera for the App: Look for the app or browser you are using for KYC verification (e.g., Safari, Chrome, or a specific banking app), and ensure the checkbox next to it is checked to grant camera access.

Restart the App: After enabling camera access, close and reopen the app or browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Windows

Menu > Settings > Privacy > Camera, then turn on "Let apps use my camera".

Open Settings: Press the Windows key and select the Settings gear icon, or press Windows + I to open settings.

Go to Privacy & Security: In the settings menu, select Privacy & Security from the left-hand sidebar.

Select Camera: Scroll down and find Camera under the "App permissions" section.

Turn On Camera Access: Ensure that the toggle for Camera Access is turned on for the entire device.

Enable Camera for Specific Apps: Scroll down to the list of apps and locate the app or browser you are using for KYC (e.g., Chrome, Edge). Make sure the camera toggle is turned on for that app.

Restart the App:

iPhone

Menu > Settings > App name > Turn on ‘Camera’

Open Settings: Go to the home screen and tap on the Settings app.

Scroll to Privacy & Security: Scroll down and select Privacy & Security.

Select Camera: Tap on Camera under the Privacy section.

Enable Camera Access: Find the app you are using for KYC (e.g., Safari, Chrome, or a banking app) and toggle the switch to allow camera access.

Restart the App: After enabling camera access, close and reopen the app to ensure the settings take effect.

Android

Menu > Settings > Applications > Application Manager > Application Name > Turn on ‘Camera’.

Open Settings: Go to the settings menu on your Android device.

Select Apps: Scroll down and select "Apps" or "Applications" (may vary by device).

Find the KYC App or Browser: Locate the app or browser you are using for the KYC

process (e.g., Chrome, or a specific banking app).

Go to Permissions: Tap on "Permissions" under the app settings.

Enable Camera: Look for "Camera" and toggle it on to allow access.

Restart the App: Close and reopen the app or browser, and the camera should now work for KYC verification.

*To fix this, please make sure:- The camera is not currently being used by other applications.- In the browser settings, permission is given to use the camera.- Your internet connection is normal.
